This dialog box is accessed from the Project Explorer using the context menu (right click on the current Vertical Alignment). It is also available from the Corridor ribbon, Vertical - Process.
Pre-process Vertical Band
If this option is selected, the cross section band will be updated (generated) for the selected alignment(s). For more information about the band see Vertical Control section in (General Options.)
Feasability Check
If selected, the feasibility of an optimal solution is checked. I.e. does a solution exist which satisifies the constrol points, grades and other constraints.
NOTE: If the Band is out of date only a partial feasabilty check is performed. For more information about the band see Vertical Control section in (General Options.)
Optimal Profile
If selected, the optimal profile will be generated for the selected alignment(s). If the Softree Optimal product is not installed this option will not be available.
Vertical Alignment Simplification
If selected, the vertical profile will be smoothed. See Vertical Simplification for more information.
Horizontal Alignment
One or more horizontal alignments can be selected for processing.
