This dialog allows you to shade and display various zones and attributes, as shown in the figure below. It is accessible from the Plan windows options dialog boxes by pressing the "+" button opposite the Shading check box.
The following shading options are available:
Shading Types
Shading by Cut/Fill
This option allows you to specify an origional ground surface (topo) and a final ground surface (SG). The colors on the cross section show the limits of cut and fill.
Shading by Cut / Fill

This option allows you to specify one or more template material layers to display eg. srf1, srf3 etc.
Shading by Cut / Fill
Shading by Code Pairs
This option allows you to specify one or more regions designated by code pairs e.g (REL,SSL).
Shading by Code Pair
Shading by Attribute(s)
This option allows you to specify attributes to display. For example Grade, Cut Depth, Curve Radius.
Shading by Attribute (Grade Ranges)

The following shading options are available:
Section Zones / Continuous
Section Zones are descrete zones centered about each section (reporting point). Continuous zones are connected between each section (reporting point).
Note: In certain situations when the shaded surface is disjoint or divided Continous Zones may not render correctly. In this case, using Section Zones is recommended
Shading by Attribute (Grade Ranges)
Thickness/Width/Offset
These parameters control the dimensions of shaded areas. See diagram below. NOTE all these dimensions are in mm (output /paper space units).
