The Location module is divided into function groups. The following Function Groups are included in the Location module:
Multi-Plot Output Sheet Generation
This option provides functions for setting up an output such as a Plan/Profile sheet. Legends, title bars, images, curve tables can also be included. Once the sheet has been set-up it can be saved in a Layout file for future use. It is possible to output multiple pages with automatic rotation of the Plan window to match on the sheet.
Culvert Editor
This option provides facilities for manipulating culverts. The size and position can be set while viewing the culvert in Plan, Profile and Section.
Auto Balance
Auto Balance allows you to adjust the vertical or horizontal alignment of existing cross sections to produce balanced, full bench cut (all cut) or all fill cross sections. The results of Auto Balance provide a starting point for a design.
Sub-Surfaces
Allows you to incorporate sub-surface information (stratum layers) into your design.
Profile Sub-windows
Allows you to display information such as cut/fill depths, ground types, side slopes, borrow/waste and mass haul under the Profile window.
Basic Curves
Allows you to enter horizontal and vertical curves. Curve radius (horizontal) or K value (vertical) are entered.
Advanced Curves
Allows horizontal curves to be entered based on design speed. Vertical curves can be entered by sight distance. Advanced curves allows design standards such as AASHTO or TAC to be incorporated.
Terrain Design
Allows a design to be created based on a Terrain file using a TIN.
