SSL/SSR Columns
Stores the left (right) perpendicular side slope data. The % side slope of the cross section (or elevation difference see Edit - Traverse Entry Options) perpendicular to the traversed ( P-line) line is displayed in this cell. For more information about perpendicular side shots see Side Shots.
Extended side shot information can be directly entered into this field or through the Extended Side Shot Edit dialog.
Direct Entry
You can enter extended side shots in the following format:
SS/DD*
where SS - is Slope or Elevation Difference
(in the user selected format) and DD - is the
Distance (either horizontal or slope)
and *, if included, indicates the end point of the
shot is a turning point.

For example an SSR entry 0/6*/10/13*/30 would indicate
0% for SD 6 (turning point)
10% for SD 13 (turning point)
30% final slope
( assuming the entry mode is set to %slope and slope distance)

NOTE: Both SSR and SSL entries always begin at the traverse and proceed outward.
dialog Box Entry
If you double click on the SSL or SSR cells, you will get the Extended Side Shot Entry dialog in which you can enter or edit previously extended side slope information.
NOTE: A maximum of 25 extended side shots can be entered on either side of centerline.
For more information about columns, see Traverse Window Columns.
