Traverse Window Columns
Each station references two rows of data entry cells; the lower row and upper row ( the lower row being the one that contains the station or station index). Information stored in the lower row is assumed to occur at the station e.g. ground type or side shots. Information in the upper row is assumed to occur in between stations e.g. azimuth, horizontal distance and % slope.
In addition to the default columns that already exist in Survey Notes, it is possible to create your own columns for storing extra attribute data.  See the Create New Column dialog for a description of how to create a new column.
The various columns can be added or removed to the Survey Notes view by pressing the Columns button on the Traverse Entry Options dialog.
The default columns are described below:
Lower Row ("At Station Data")
Upper Row ("In Between Station Data")
NOTE: The column heading and the interpretation of the data entered will change according to the entry mode selected in the Traverse Entry Options dialog and the Horizontal Angle Reference dialog.
