The Extended Side Shot Edit dialog allows you to enter a maximum of 25 perpendicular side shots on either side of centerline. Use the horizontal scroll bar to move along the section. For more information about perpendicular side shots see Side Shots.
TP checkboxes
Indicates if a shot defines a turning point. If the TP check box is on, then the next shot starts at the end of the current shot. If the TP check box is off, then the next shot starts at the same point as the current shot (like an IFS). See Side Shots for more information on turning points.
If a TP check box is off, then the following shot must have a larger horizontal distance so that successive points are farther away from the Centerline.
Tab Order
Pressing the Left / Right radio buttons (or <Alt-L> / <Alt-R>) allows you to quickly switch the active entry field from one side of the traverse to the other.
The Tab key moves right or left depending on the state of these radio buttons; Shift-Tab moves backward. Note that the Page-Up and Page-Down keys mimic the Tab key for one handed entry on an extended keyboard. Page-Down = Tab, Page-Up = Shift-Tab.
Section
Scale
Allows you to change the scale of the section displayed in this dialog.
Draw
The cross section will be drawn at the specified scale whenever the Draw Button is pressed. A red triangle on the cross section indicates a TP.
