These options are presented when you import a LiDAR file. They are also available through the Options button of Import Setup.
Point Class Selection (Group box)
LAS files are organized into classes of points (e.g. Ground, Vegetation, Buildings, etc.).
All (check box)
Set All to include points from all classifications. Clear to allow individual selection.
Classification list (drop list)
Choose one of the available classifications. Note that not all of these are present in a typical file; press the Examine File(s) button to update this list.
Examine File(s) (button)
Press this button to determine the point count for each class (it may take a while for large files).
Display
Display points (check box)
Set to turn on display of Lidar points. Displaying large Lidar data sets can be slow, it is recommended that point display be turned off.
Display extents border (check box)
If set, a border feature is created to indicate the extents of the lidar data.
