Each record consists of various fields separated by one or more delimit characters. Use the Column Assignments area of the Structure tab to specify the ordering of the fields.
MANDATORY FIELDS
The following 2 fields must be included in the EFS:

X coordinate field position
Y
Y coordinate field position
OPTIONAL FIELDS
All other fields are optional and can be included as required:
Z
Z coordinate field position
Code
Name
ATTRIBUTE FIELDS
It is possible to attach other data to the features as they are created. First define the Attributes using the Attribute Setup dialog. Then add them to the parsing list by clicking the Attribute button on the Import ASCII Structure dialog.
Attributes which are commonly used include:
Comment
Comment field position. NOTE: the maximum comment size 25 characters. This applies to comments attached to features. This restriction doesn't apply to comments entered as floating labels.
Point Number (ID)
Add point numbers as an attribute to your import specification. See the Attribute Setup dialog for more information.
