Create Offset Features dialog
This dialog allows you to create a feature by offsetting perpendicularly from another feature.
Offsets can be either Circular or Linear. Circular buffering creates rounded corners.
Type
Linear
Offset each point is the offset distance along the bisector.
Circular
Each line segment is offset and the corners are rounded.
If a single point feature is selected the new feature will be a circle.
Slope
Enter the slope to the offset feature.
Side
Right, left or both.
