Important Note: To export in Google Earth format, you must have a current coordinate system set up. For more information, see Exporting Google Earth Files.
All Features
All linear features in the current terrain model will be exported as vectors to KMZ format. Floating labels and symbols will not be exported. Background image files (such as Geotiffs) will be included in the KMZ file as a Ground Overlay.
Selected Features
Only linear features and background image files in the current selection set will be exported as vectors to KMZ format.
Export As Image
The current plan view window will be written to the KMZ file as a screen capture image. This option only works if the current window is a Plan View window. Profile and other window types will not be exported to Google Earth.
The background screen color will be made transparent. All lines, text and symbols, and any background images will be drawn exactly as they are in Google Earth.
Open in Google Earth
This option will open the output file into the Google Earth application. If Google Earth is not currently running, it will start up automatically.
