This dialog can be accessed through the File | Open and File | Insert File Menus, by selecting "Add a new file format" in the Files of Type combo box. It is also available through the File | Save As dialog, by selecting "Add a new file format" in the Save As Type combo box.
File(s)
This is the file name and extension of the data your are attempting to import.
Format List
Displays a list of supported file formats for importing your selection. The content of this list can be changed with the radio buttons and the New Format button below.
Show Matching Formats
When this radio button is selected, the Format List will display all formats with the same file extension as your selection.
Show All
When this radio button is selected, all supported formats will be displayed in the Format list. If you choose one that does not match the extension of your selected file, then the OK button will be grayed out.
New Format button
This button pops up the Import Setup dialog, where you can view a complete list of available file formats, and add or remove file formats from this list.
