This dialog is accessed from the D-Line Explore Options and the D-Line System dialogs. It is used to control the parameters used to automatically find the best tail hold position.
Minimum carriage clearance (edit box)
Enter the carriage cable attachment ground clearance required in the successful yarding zone.
Note that this Minimum carriage clearance value is independant of the Min. clearance used in the Plan Cable Display Options.
Number of sample locations (edit box)
Enter the number of possible tail positions you want to test - they will be equally spaced along the D-Line feature.
Save as default (check box)
Set this check box to update the defaults used when you create a new Terrain document.
