Label Control
Label Categories
Label formatting can be controlled by Label Category. Examples of Label Categories are Elevation Labels, Comment Labels, Culvert Labels etc. FONT types (Swiss, Helvitica etc.) are common to an entire Category. Other formatting attributes such as position, size and color can be adjusted for each individual label.
Basic Selection and formatting
The Label Selection and Formatting dialog allows you to control the label selection, positioning and format. It can be accessed from the Map View Options dialog, by clicking on the "+" button beside Labels.
Label Editing with the Mouse
The Edit - Edit Labels menu allows you to move and position labels using the mouse.
