1. With the Multi-Plot window active, select menu Edit - New Sub-View.
2. Choose the window type you wish to add from the menu eg. Plan:1. You will notice a rectangle is created in the Multi-Plot Window.
3. Move the mouse inside this rectangle. The cursor will change to a four sided arrow.
4, Left click and move the mouse holding the left mouse button down . Notice the window follows. Release the left mouse button when the window is in the correct position.
Sub-Views can be positioned anywhere on the sheet, including inside other rectangles or overlapping rectangles. Use the function Edit - Shuffle Front to Back to access a rectangle that is covered by another.
To Resize a Sub-View:
1. Select a Sub-View by moving the mouse inside the window and left clicking.
2. Notice the 8 handles appear (at the corners and in the middle of each side). Move the mouse over one of these handles. You will notice the cursor changes shape.
3. While the mouse is positioned over a handle, click and hold down the left button and move the mouse. Notice the rectangle changing size as you move.
4. Release the left button to set the window size.
To Delete a Sub-View:
1. Select a Sub-View by moving the cursor inside the Sub-View and left clicking the mouse.
2. Press the <delete> key on the keyboard.
Multiple Sub-View Operations
NOTE: You can select more than one rectangle at a time (for group operations) by holding the Ctrl key and clicking on multiple sub-views (a second click will deselect). If you click and drag (left mouse), starting outside any existing sub-views, you will define a select rectangle. All sub-views that intersect the rectangle will be selected when you release the mouse key.
