This dialog box allows you to create labels from attributes. This dialog Box is accessed from the Plan Window Labels dialog Box.
Description
Enter the description of the user defined label.
Attribute Type
Point attributes will be displayed at each point in the feature for example Northing and Easting.
Feature attributes will be displayed 1 for each feature for example Name, Area or Length.
Position
If the Attribute Type is Point then the position can be either Point, Forward Leg or Backward Leg.
Point - label is positioned at the point.
Forward Leg - label is positioned halfway between the current point and the next point.
Backward Leg - label is positioned halfway between the current point and the previous point.
If the Attribute Type is Feature, then the position can be either Center, First Point or Last Point.
Center - label is positioned the geometric center of the feature.
First Point - label is positioned at the first point of the feature.
Last Point - label is positioned at the last point of the feature.
Items
The label can be made of Attributes and Text items. Pressing the Add button will append the selected item to the label. If Multiline is selected, a carriage return will be included in the label definition. Pressing the Clear All button will clear the label definition.
Attribute - point or feature attribute depending on which Label Type is Selected.
