Text Items Tab
A Line type can consist of one or more Text items.
Text
Periodic text string.
Scale
Scale factor is used to enlarge or reduce the character size.
Angle (degrees)
The Angle (counterclockwise in degrees).
Spacing (mm)
Spacing parameter controls the spacing along the centerline between adjacent text items
First Space (mm)
First space can be set to control the distance along the centerline to the first text item.
Perp. Offset
Perpendicular offset from center line (left is negative).
Draw Transparent Check Box
Draw transparent check box allows you to control if an opaque rectangle surrounding the text will be drawn.
Add Button
Adds the text to the current text.
Delete Button
Deletes the highlighted current text.
Font Button
Allows you to change the font. NOTE: there are many sets of symbol fonts available for windows such as standard mapping and geological symbols.
NOTE: Click on the Current Text Items List box to see changes.
All units are in paper space units (mm on the output paper) not project units.
