The SURVEY/MAP module uses a Multiple Document Interface. This interface allows you to work with several Traverse or Map documents at the same time.
For example a Traverse Window can be setup on the left side of the screen and a Map Window containing the traverse on the right (this can be done either by using the Window - Tile Vertically menu or standard mouse sizing and moving operations). Changes made to the survey notes are reflected in the displayed map. Note the menus displayed in the menu bar change depending on which type of window is active.
The multiple document interface allows you to open more than one Survey Window. Survey Windows can contain different traverse documents or the same traverse document.
