Rectangle Sub-View Options dialog
Allows you to control the text information appearing in a Rectangle and other sub-view options.
These options are displayed after you insert a new Rectangle sub-view (Multi-plot ribbon or right click menu). To display options for an existing sub-view, double click or right-click on it. If a sub-view is selected, Multi-plot ribbon Sub-View Options will open the options dialog box.
Text Type (drop list)
The Text Type drop down list allows you to select one of the following text items:
User Defined

User entered text.

Horizontal Alignment
|
The horizontal alignment selected for the chapter
|
Design File Name
|
Name of the Location Design.
|
Design File Name (shorter)
|
Name of the Location Design - Short without path.
|
End Station
|
Indicates the end station of the current page.
|
First Page
|
First page (can be set in View Multi-plot Options | Pagination).
|
Last Page
|
Last page (first page can be set in View Multi-plot Options | Pagination).
|
Page Number
|
Current page number.
|
Page X of N
|
Current page number and the total number of pages in Multi-plot.
|
Plan Scale
|
Plan window scale (Plan:1).
|
Print Date
|
Date the time the document is printed.
|
Profile Scales
|
Profile window scales. Horizontal and vertical (1 line each).
|
Section Scale
|
Section Scale (current section).
|
Sheet X of N
|
Current page number and the total number of pages in Multi-plot
|
Start Station
|
Indicates the start station of the current page.
|
Terrain File
|
Terrain file containing a graphic (map, typical cross section, north arrow...)
|
Terrain File (shorter)
|
Terrain file containing a graphic (map, typical cross section, north arrow...) without folder name.
|
Total Pages
|
Total number of pages.
|
Traverse File Name
|
Name of the traverse file if the design is based on a P-line.

If you select User Defined, the edit box provided allows you to enter the desired text. Note text can consist of several lines if you insert carriage returns (<Enter> key).
If you select one of the automatic text items, the edit box displays the current value. Note that although you can't edit this text, you can select and copy to the clipboard with <Ctrl-C> or a right click.
Align Text
Horizontal and Vertical (drop list)
Allows you to align the text horizontally and vertically within the rectangle.
Row Height (Edit box, check box)
Allows you to set the height of rows in the rectangle. If Auto is set the row height will be determined by the font size.
Wrap Text (check box)
If set, long lines are broken to fit in the rectangle.
Rotate (check box)
Rotates the text 90 degrees.
Font Controls
Font (button)
Allows you to select the font and color for the Rectangle text. This overrides the default set with Multi-Plot Options Font Rectangles button.
Get Default Font (button)
Resets the font to the default set with Multi-Plot Options Font Rectangles button. This button is disabled if the default is already in use.
Common Sub-View Options
Draw to screen (check box)
This check box enables and disables the drawing of the rectangle contents to the screen. Disabling the drawing can speed up the frequent screen refreshes caused by typical operations to set up a Multi-Plot sheet.
Transparent (check box)
Set to allow items behind the rectangle to be visible; clear to make the rectangle opaque (see also Arrange options in the Multi-plot ribbon).
Bounding rectangle (check box, (+) button)
Set to display the rectangle boundary. Click on the (+) button to change the line type and color of the bounding rectangle.
Row Dividers (check box)
If set, the rows of text will be divided by horizontal lines.
Show on all pages (check box, (+) button)
Clear the check box and press the (+) button to choose which pages will display the rectangle.
Locking (drop list)
Choose between:

Unlocked: subview can be selected, sized, deleted and edited

Locked Position: subview can be selected, deleted and edited; moving and sizing is disabled

Locked Fully: selection and modification is disabled
Locking can be disabled globally with Multi-Plot Options Allow edit of locked items (also a avaialble directly in the right click context menu). This is the only way to modify a _Locked Fully_ sub-view.
