Linetypes, Symbols and Hatching
Linetypes
It is possible to assign linetypes to features. Terrain is shipped with a table of standard linetypes. This standard table can be modified to create new user defined line types using the Edit Linetypes dialog.
Symbols
It is possible to assign symbols to features. Terrain is shipped with a table of standard symbols. This standard table can be modified to create new user defined symbols using the Edit Symbols dialog.
Hatching
It is possible to assign hatching to features. If a feature is not closed a segment is automatically included from the last point to the 1st.
Monochrome hatch patterns - many of the available hatch patterns are derived from monochrome bitmaps.  They take on the color of the current feature.  White portions of the hatch can be either transparent or opaque.  There are two entries for each hatch, one transparent and the other opaque.
Colored hatch patterns - some of the hatch patterns are derived from color bitmaps.  Colored hatches are always opaque.
Custom colored hatch patterns - the available colored hatches are listed as Bitmap 0 through Bitmap 19.  These entries are reading bitmap files BitmapHatch00.bmp through BitmapHatch19.bmp in the Roadeng directory.  To include your own color bitmap file as a hatch pattern, simply rename it and overwrite one of the BitmapHatchXX.bmp files.  Your bitmap will appear in the hatch selection list as Bitmap XX.
For more information on hatching, see the Texture Hatch dialog in Terrain module help.
