Interpolate Points dialog
This dialog allows you to automatically add (and remove) feature points. It is accessed from the Edit - Modify Selected Features - Interpolate - Points menu.
Spacing
Enter the spacing distance along the existing feature to insert the points.
Include existing points check box
If the checkbox is selected, the existing points on the feature will remain. If it is not selected, the existing points will be removed.
Note: if the existing points are removed, the spacing between points on the resulting feature may differ from the chosen spacing (see above). This is because the Spacing is measured along the original feature.
Use traverse stationing
This option only applies to features which have been imported from the Survey/Map module (if none exist, this option will be disabled).
If a traverse has been imported from the Survey/Map module, the station (cumulative horizontal distance) entered in the Survey Notes may be different from the station calculated from the feature coordinates. If this option is selected, the station is calculated from the traverse stations.
Labels Group
