The Points Panel is used to report and/or modify attribute information about the current point. For more information on defining attributes that can be displayed in the Points Panel, see the Attributes Setup dialog .
Creating and Configuring the Points Panel
1) To display the Points Panel you may select menu View | Add to Panel | Points , select the Points button from the main status bar, or click the Points tab from the rightmost application toolbar.
2) To configure the Points Panel you may select the Hide button on the title bar or right click the title bar and select Hide. You may also right-click on it anytime and select Points Options.... from the Context Menu which appears on the screen. To save these options for future use, see Layout Files.
Note: Only Attributes that are not read-only can be modified through the Points Panel.
