There are three general window types available in the Terrain module. Window parameters can be saved for future use in a Layout File.
Graphic Windows
The following graphic windows are available:
Plan Window - Display and modification of the features in plan view.
Profile Window - Display and modification of the features in profile view.
3D Window - Displays the features in a perspective style view.
Text Windows
Text Windows can be floating or docked to the right side of the screen. To dock a floating window, click the dock icon on the upper right side of the window. To float a docked window, click the float icon on the upper right side of the docked window.
Multiple Text Windows can be docked simultaneously as tabs in the docking window, but there can only be one of each window type at a time.
The following text windows are available:
Status Window - User-configurable displays of attributes for the current point, current feature and the current file.
Features Window - Displays the attributes of the current feature and allows editing of any attributes which are not read-only.
Points Window - Displays the attributes of the current point and allows editing of any attributes which are not read-only.
Multi-Plot Window - Create output sheets for final printing by laying out various Multi-Plot Sub-Windows onto a representation of the paper you will be printing on. e.g. Plan/Profile sheet with volume reports and legend.
