The Traverse Adjustments dialog allows you to shift, join and close traverses in the same map file. See Traverse Coordinate Adjustments for more information.
Adjustment List
This area of the dialog displays the list of traverse adjustments. A red checkmark appears next to each item that has already been applied to the traverse. The items show the name of the traverse, the point being manipulated, the type of manipulation, and absolute coordinates being used.
The items will be processed in the order they appear in the list. Highlighting one of the items allows you to rearrange or modify it using the buttons described below.
Display Error Messages
Pops up a results dialog after you select Apply or Exit. The results dialog describes any errors that may have occurred and also the relative precision of adjustments that were completed.
This will permanently delete the selected item from the list. It is not available for traverse start points.
Apply
This will perform the adjustments as detailed in the Adjustment List and will popup the results message if you have Display Error Messages checked.
Shift Up
Allows you to rearrange the order of items in the list.
Shift Down
Allows you to rearrange the order of items in the list.
Clear All
This will clear any adjustments you have added to the list.
Exit
As you exit the dialog, this will perform the adjustments as detailed in the Adjustment List and will popup the results message if you have Display Error Messages checked.
