File - Print Plan
This option is only available if the Plan window is active.
The plotter page size, orientation and color capabilities are determined automatically from the Windows printer driver (see your Printer manual for more information about setup options). All other plotting parameters come from the screen display options (for example; scale, grid, labels etc.). As print/plot options are likely to be different from screen options it makes sense to save them in separate Screen Layout files.
Multi-Page Montage Layout
If you choose the multi-page montage option, the Location module will automatically layout your plan window on a series of pages. This layout will include the entire design but not necessarily the "empty" areas. Labels (comments) and reference points branching outward from the traverse may "fall off the page" with the default layout.
You can override the default multi-page montage layout by printing one page at a time and scrolling the plan window.
Current Page Layout
If you choose the current page option, you will get one page. The center of the plan window on the screen is placed at the center of the output sheet. You can scroll the plan window (on the screen) using the scroll bars to position it for output.
After choosing either the current or mult-page option, you will see the standard Windows Print dialog. If you chose the multi-page montage option above, you can select which pages to print.
