A check mark beside the Toolbar item indicates the Toolbar is active. If you wish to have a slightly larger viewing area of the work screen, removing the check mark (mouse click or <enter>) removes the Toolbar. You can increase the viewing area further by also removing the Status Bar.
The following Toolbars are available:
Standard Tools - Contains frequently used commands such as file open, save, print.
Zoom Tools - Contains commands for zooming and panning. Available only in Plan and Profile Windows.
Mode Tools - Contains selection and drawing modes.
Edit Tools - Contains tools that can be found in the Edit menu
Window Tools - Contains tools for all windows and panels
