Softree License Manager

This control accesses the different licensing methods that Roadeng supports.

License Types

USB Key Licenses

A usb key license is usb key with a unique id that identifies your Softree License.

The usb key is for RoadEng 7 and earlier. Roadeng 8 and later use online licenses.

To use a usb key you need to download and install 3rd party drivers.
Cloud Licenses

Cloud licenses are available in Roadeng 8 and later. They require internet acess to fully activate. You can initiate activation offline, but will require you to complete the activation process on a second computer that does have internet access.

Network Licenses

Network licenses are available in Roadeng 8 and later.

This license combines Roadeng desktop application, and a Server application. The Server owns and activates the licenses, and Roadeng signs out the licenses from the Server, much like borrowing a book from the library.

Trial Licenses

Trial license are available on the softree trial webpage and are essentially cloud licenses with limited time limit.

Trials require an internet acess to activate, and require upgrading after the trail expires.
