Softree Announces Academic Licensing

Softree Technical Systems of Vancouver B.C. announced today their civil engineering and optimization software will now be free of charge to educational institutions. Low cost student pricing is also available.

Eligible Institutions include:
a) Accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior, or vocational college).
b) Research institutions.
c) Government based schools and training facilities.

This is great news for all educators, as budget will no longer limit their ability to offer 'light weight' and easy to use software to students. Softree products are currently used by more than 30 Universities including, U.B.C., O.S.U., University of Washington, and University of Laval and many others.
