Rural County Road Design

This webinar covered a county road design start to finish in half an hour, from survey data to output sheets.

• We started with a total station file, defined breaklines and created a 3D terrain model with contours.

• Next, we demonstrated the simplicity of designing with RoadEng to determine our best horizontal & vertical alignments, including cross sections and earthwork balancing.

• Finally, we discussed options for output and communicating our design, including: an earthwork summary, staking information & construction documentation.
