Part 4 of our multi-part webinar series focusing on reducing the environmental impacts of roads. As we’ve discussed throughout the series, properly managing the interception, accumulation, and redirection of water is imperative to minimize the environmental impact of your road. In this session we focused on that, discussing your road’s drainage elements and how they can be accounted for with geometric design, including the design of culverts, ditches, cross-drains, & the shape of the road surface (crown).
