Features that are entered without elevations (elevation check box off) are referred to as Draped features. If no DTM exists when a Draped feature is created the elevation of each point is undefined (set to -9999). If a DTM exists, the elevation is determined from the model. In addition, triangle intersection points (TIN points) are calculated as illustrated below.
