This function selects the next point sequentially within the current feature. To select another feature, use the <tab> key (see View - Next Feature).
For reversible and rapid movement along points, you can use the <Ctrl-N> and <Ctrl-B> key combinations instead of the View - Next Point function. You can also select a point by a left mouse button click if you have the mouse in select mode. To shift mouse into select mode, right click mouse button and choose Select with Mouse.
Depending on your screen Layout, you can simultaneously view the current point in plan and profile and obtain reference information for the selected point such as its XY coordinates and elevation in the Status window.
