This dialog allows you to merge the TIN surface from one Terrain into another. The source file terrain must have a TIN model. It is accessed through the Menu Edit - Terrain Modelling - Merge.
1) The boundary of the TIN model from the source terrain is extracted.
2) All features within the destination terrain are clipped to the boundary determined in 1.
3) Features from destination terrain (within the boundary) are merged into the desination Terrain.
Source
Enter the source terrain file, or use the Browse button to find it using the File - Open dialog.
Options
Include inside stitching (source) breakline - if selected, a breakline is added along the source TIN boundary.
Include outside stitching (destination) breakline - if selected, a breakline is added a small distance (stitching distance offset ) outside the TIN boundary of the source terrain.
Outside Stitching distance - offset distance for the outside stitching breakline.
Create hole only (don't insert source terrain) - if selected, then the boundary of the source terrain TIN is used to cut a 'hole' in the current Terrain. The boundary is included with properties, TIN Boundary, Negative Area, and Breakline.
