This dialog is accessible by selecting a Slope Component in the Template Editor dialog and pressing the Properties button.
Slopes are attached to the outside of the template and will close the template with topography. Changes made to the Slope Object are made through this dialog.
Left (Right) Final Slope
Enter the final cut or fill slope. This is the slope of the segment where the road prism closes with topography. This slope can be either a slope % or Auto.
If this value is set to Auto:
cut slope angles are determined from the ground type(s) associated with the stratum layer(s).
fill slope angles are determined by the assigned fill type. The assigned fill type can be set in the Fill Material Assignments dialog. The default fill material is stratum layer 1 ground type.
Intermediate slopes (legs) can be added between the outside of the template and the final closing slope. This can be useful for creating cut benches, retaining walls, shoulder etc. These slopes are optional and can be added by clicking on the Add button. See also Custom Template Components.
